Chrysler's Imperial line really was the last word in luxury in the late 1950's. These cars also had the engineering reputation of being incredibly refined driving motorcars of the day. The suspension, transmission and sheer power developed by the Hemi Imperials really did put GM and Ford products to shame back then. Most of the Hemi-engined Imperials had their motors removed for use in drag cars such was the reputation of the mighty 392ci. Our car is a former show-winning Coupe retaining it's matching #numbers engine and drivetrain. Wow!!
